ABOUT
Hannah is a theatre director, whose productions include Rose Heiney’s Original Death Rabbit, starring Kimberley Nixon, at Jermyn Street Theatre, Carry on Jaywick by Dan Murphy, which toured the UK, Eigengrau by Penelope Skinner at The Kings Head and The 11th Hour at the egg, Theatre Royal Bath.
She recently joined the team at Chichester Festival Theatre as Associate Director (Literary). She will be working closely with Artistic Director Justin Audibert focusing on bringing new work to both the Festival and Minerva stages.
Hannah was previously the Resident Director at the National Theatre Studio. Before that, she was in the most recent Old Vic 12 where she developed Poppy Corbett's contemporary farce Fake Melania. The production was unfortunately cancelled due to the pandemic.
She has assisted some of the country’s leading directors, including Simon Godwin, Polly Findlay, Bijan Sheibani and Erica Whyman, working with the writers Jack Thorne, Caryl Churchill, Alice Birch and Nick Payne in the process. Hannah is also a former Resident Director at the Almeida Theatre, National Theatre Staff Director and Baylis Assistant Director at The Old Vic.
She is a tutor for Open Door, a non-profit organisation that helps talented young people who do not have the financial support or resources to gain a place at drama school and regularly directs students at the UK's leading drama schools. Hannah is also a National Theatre Connections Mentor Director.
